GEORG LHOTSKY, born in 1937, expulsion and flight to Austria in 1944, choirboy at Zwettl Abbey, priestly student, jazz trumpeter.
His first feature film MOOS AUF DEN STEINEN, 1968, the literary adaptation of Gerhard Fritsch's novel of the same name, is considered by film scholars to be the first exhibit of New Austrian Cinema because of its clear distinction from earlier films in terms of content and style.
The film was invited to the 1969 Berlin International Film Festival and was nominated for an OSCAR by the jury as the best debut film; the OSCAR was then awarded to another European debut film. The film music was composed by Friedrich Gulda.
As an actor and director Georg Lhotsky worked at theaters in Vienna and Berlin, Münster and Lübeck, for ORF, BR and ZDF he wrote and directed:

In 1983, together with Eva-Maria Stelljes, he founded the Lhotsky-Film-Gesellschaft and produced the TV series HEILEN UND SCHAMANISM and MYSTIK DES WESTENS, as well as documentaries on border areas of science and holistic healing topics.
Georg Lhotsky was married to the actress and director of the Volkstheater Emmy Werner from 1959 to 1974 and has one son, Alexander Lhotzky. In 1997, he entered into his second marriage with Eva-Maria Stelljes.
Lhotsky is a founding member of the "Austrian Society for Group Dynamics and Group Pedagogy" and has a teaching analysis according to Freud.

EVA-MARIA STELLJES, born 1949 in Vienna, at 14 a year in Bordeaux, Matura at Sacre Coeur, then a year nanny in Chicago. Commercial baccalaureate course and work for publishing houses and corporations in Hamburg and Vienna.
Since 1973 she has lived and worked with Georg Lhotsky, first as an assistant director, then as a writer, production manager and producer.
She has a training as a trainer for group dynamics and group pedagogy and was for years in an analytical self-awareness group.
Together with Georg Lhotsky she founded LHOTSKY-FILM in 1983, in 1997 she took over the management.
Her preference is for all topics related to healing.
